Event at Pacific Aviation Musuem

Exciting opportunity for students of all ages!  Pacific Aviation Museum
Pearl Harbor will host the Stockbridge Advanced Underwater Robotics Team
from Stockbridge High School in Michigan in a special presentation on
Thursday, April 10, from 10am to 11am, in the Museum Theater.

The Advanced Underwater Robotics Team designs and builds underwater
remote-controlled vehicles.  They will be visiting the Museum on their
return from their third mission to Palau, where the team works with the
BentProp project to locate missing planes and airmen from WWII.  On past
missions the students identified the remains of a previously unknown
aircraft crash site and were able to track down the aircraft’s pilot.

The Robotics Team will share highlights from their work in Palau during
their presentation on April 10.  In past months these teens have presented
at the National WWII Museum and the Underwater Interventions conference in
New Orleans.

The Robotics Team event is presented at no cost to school groups and
educators.  School groups may elect to tour the museum after the
presentation for a cost of $10/student (teachers are admitted at no cost).
